A little bit about us...

Resonance is the result of unusually great timing & the dreaming of three friends who share a love of deep & moving music & a homegrown respect for the good that can come when communities gather together in nature to celebrate music, art and each other.

We are excited to announce a three-day celebration of beats and beauty.

Resonance - a festival of Bass & Sacred Space.

The chance to gather together in community.

The chance to celebrate, to grow, to groove and flow.

Featuring beloved legends of the Aotearoa, New Zealand underground music scene, as well as never before seen in Aotearoa international acts, alongside workshops, yoga and flow arts that we hope will bring you something you didn't know you needed.

Created with love & intention Resonance creates space to breathe, expand your soul

and dance. Dancing is important.

We warmly invite you to join us.

RESONANCE festival

Event Information

GATES

The gates will be open for entry between the hours of 8 am and 8:30pm on Friday, 8am until 8pm on Saturday and 8am until 3pm on Sunday. Pass-outs are permitted during certain hours, but please come prepared for the whole weekend so you can fully immerse yourself in the festival. The event comes to  a close at 4pm on Sunday, so please ensure you have a well rested and sober driver to enable timely departure from the festival site by 6pm Sunday evening.

CAMPING & PARKING

All tickets include camping - both vehicles and tents. If you are able to carpool with friends please do so or find a lift with fellow attendees. This helps us and the environment.

Vehicles which are not being slept in MUST be parked in the designated carpark which is a short walk away from the camping area. This is because flat space in the paddocks is at a premium and we must utilise it well.

There is a Family Camping Area which is to ensure both our parents & kids can get a decent nights sleep.

GENERAL SAFETY INFO:

-The terrain across the site is uneven in the paddocks, especially the camping area due to the land formerly hosting cattle and therefore you must BE MINDFUL ALWAYS when you are walking as there is a risk you (and/or your children) could twist your ankles.

- Reception on site is patchy so you may not always be able to use your phone. If you have children with you, please ensure you have a meeting point if you get separated.

- We have children and elders joining us so please ensure your behaviour is appropriate so everyone can enjoy themselves fully.

-We have a zero tolerance for alcohol, substance abuse or sexual offending.

-If you see something that doesn’t look right please tell someone or do something (only if you're able to keep yourself safe).

BRING YOUR OWN & TAKE YOUR OWN

Resonance has no bins! We are aiming to be 0% waste which means our vendors and any other providers will not be giving out single use plastics/plates/cups etc, so please bring your own cutlery and everything else you'd need as if you were camping on your own.

This also means any rubbish you create you take home with you.

Please think about how you will deal with this at your camp site, prior to coming. This means at a minimum you will need to BYO rubbish bags, remove any packaging before coming to site and we also suggest rinsing & separating your recyclables, as well as thinking twice before buying any single use plastics.

There will be wash stations for your plates etc
