Resonance Festival 2026 — Terms and Conditions of Entry

Welcome to Resonance Festival 2026. By purchasing a ticket or entering the festival grounds, you agree to the following terms and conditions set by Resonant Events Ltd (“the Organiser”). Please read carefully before attending.

 

1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • Admission is only permitted with a valid ticket or authorised pass.
     

  • The Organiser reserves the right to deny entry or remove any person whose conduct is considered dangerous, offensive, disruptive, or contrary to the wellbeing of others.
     

  • All patrons must comply with instructions from event staff, security, and emergency services at all times.
     

  • Bags, vehicles, and personal belongings may be searched upon entry.
     

  • No fires, fireworks, or open flames are permitted anywhere on site. Gas cookers must be used safely, off the ground, or inside vehicles.
     

  • No BYO alcohol is allowed. Alcohol brought to the gate will be confiscated, and entry may be refused. This event is alcohol free.
     

  • The following are prohibited:
     

    • Illegal substances or paraphernalia
       

    • Weapons or hazardous materials
       

    • Discriminatory, gang-related, or offensive signs, clothing, or symbols
       

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times. Lost or broken wristbands will not be replaced without proof of purchase.
     

  • Entry is at your own risk. Neither the Organiser nor the landholder accepts liability for injury, loss, or damage to property or persons while attending the event.
     

 

2. AGE REQUIREMENTS & IDENTIFICATION

  • Resonance Festival is a family friendly event but under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless otherwise specified.
     

  • All attendees must present valid photo ID upon entry. Accepted forms include:
     

    • NZ Driver’s Licence
       

    • HANZ Kiwi Access Card
       

    • Passport (international accepted)
       

  • Digital copies or photocopies will not be accepted.
     

  • No refunds will be given for failure to produce valid identification.
     

 

3. TICKETING POLICY

  • A ticket is only valid when purchased through the festival’s website. Tickets obtained via resale, unofficial platforms, or private transfer are done at the buyers own risk and may not be valid.
     

  • Tickets are electronic and will be scanned at the gate. Once scanned, a ticket cannot be reused.
     

  • Only the first person to present a valid ticket will be admitted — duplicates or unauthorised copies will be denied entry.
     

  • The name on the ticket must match your ID. Ensure details are updated if you are transferring a ticket.
     

  • Tickets may not be used for advertising, giveaways, or promotional purposes without written permission from Resonant Events Ltd.
     

  • The Organiser accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, duplicated, or invalid tickets.
     

 

4. PAYMENT & REFUNDS

  • All tickets must be paid for in full before entry. Unpaid or partially paid tickets are not valid.
     

  • All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by New Zealand law or if the event is cancelled due to Force Majeure (see Section 5).
     

  • Refunds, when applicable, will be limited to remaining funds not already used for pre-production or fixed costs. We will do our best to make sure everyone is taken care of.
     

  • If the event is postponed, all tickets automatically transfer to the new date and will not be eligible for refund.
     

  • If the event begins and is subsequently stopped or cancelled, tickets will not be refunded.
     

  • By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
     

 

5. FORCE MAJEURE, POSTPONEMENT & CANCELLATION

  • Resonant Events Ltd reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the event in circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: natural disaster, pandemic, government restrictions, weather events, or other Force Majeure.
     

  • In the case of cancellation, partial refunds may be issued from remaining funds after essential costs have been met.
     

  • In the case of postponement, tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates. No refunds will be issued for postponement. Rest assured we will do our best to make sure everyone is taken of. 

 

6. GENERAL CONDUCT & SITE BEHAVIOUR

  • Treat all people, property, and the natural environment with care and respect.
     

  • Use designated toilets and waste stations only. Public urination or littering may result in eviction.
     

  • “Leave No Trace” principles apply — please take your rubbish with you when you leave.
     

  • No unauthorised trading or vending is permitted. All vendors must be approved by the Organiser.
     

  • The Organiser is not responsible for goods or services purchased from third-party traders.
     

  • No animals are permitted on site, with the exception of registered service dogs.
     

  • Antisocial or unsafe behaviour will result in removal without refund.
     

 

7. MUSIC, LIGHTING & PERFORMANCE CHANGES

  • The festival lineup, artists, performance times, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
     

  • Refunds will not be given for lineup alterations.
     

  • Exposure to loud music may damage hearing — please protect your ears.
     

  • Smoke effects, strobe lighting, and lasers may be used during performances.
     

 

8. MEDIA, FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY

  • By entering the site, you consent to being filmed or photographed for event documentation, promotion, or future marketing by Resonant Events Ltd and its approved partners.
     

  • Personal photography is welcome, but please respect the privacy of others and ask before taking close-up images.
     

  • Commercial photography or videography requires written approval.
     

  • Filming or photography is prohibited in medical, security, or backstage areas.
     

 

9. VEHICLES & PARKING
 

  • Park only in designated areas as directed by staff.
     

  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. The Organiser takes no responsibility for theft, damage, or loss.
     

  • Vehicles left onsite in non designated areas may be removed or towed at the owner’s expense.
     

  • Ride-sharing and carpooling are encouraged to reduce environmental impact.
     

 

10. LOST PROPERTY

  • Lost and found items can be reported or collected at the on-site Information Hub.
     

  • After the event, enquiries can be made via resonancefestivalnz@gmail.com
     

  • Items will be held for four weeks after the event before being donated or responsibly disposed of.
     

  • If you require an item returned by post, postage and handling costs will apply.
     

 

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Resonant Events Ltd may amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on the official Resonance Festival website. By purchasing a ticket after an update, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
